FOX TV’s “Sons of Tucson” readies the season at BAM!

BAM Studios recently welcomed 20th Century Fox and the production of “Sons of Tucson”.  Youngster and Chicago native Matthew Levy who plays the role of Brandon Gunderson on the new Fox TV series recorded ADR lines for an upcoming episode. The series centers around three wealthy young brothers who hire Ron Snuffkin to pose as their father when their real one goes to prison for committing a white collar crime. Ron is forced to step into the patriarch role of the Gunderson family and display different skills and tricks to keep the family going. Premieres on Fox Sundays at 9:30PM starting March 14th.

Once again, the BAM crew spent the weekend installing Digidesign’s latest D-Command ES digital mixing environment.  This time in Studio B.  The equipment update makes it once again identical to Studio A.  Give us a call to schedule a special tour of the latest in sound mixing.

BAM records Corey McPherrin for the Chicago Food Depository

Chicago’s own Corey McPherrin, lead sports anchor for WFLD-TV, was at BAM narrating for the Greater Chicago Food Depository Commercial Real Estate Awards.  The Chicago Commercial Real Estate Awards Dinner draws more than 2000 of the Chicago metropolitan area’s top brokers, developers, property managers, interior contractors and design professionals.  The Chicago-Sun Times began the awards in 1984 and the Chicago Commercial Real Estate Awards Dinner, benefiting the Greater Chicago Food Depository, began in 1989.  Corey will also emcee the 2009 Dinner and Awards ceremony.

BAM Studios installs an Icon this weekend!

BAM spent the weekend installing the latest Digidesign D-Command ES digital mixing environment in Studio A.  The update included a complete rewire, custom 24 faders and producer’s desk, surround panners, as well as additional digital and analog I/O.

Owner Brian Reed says “The integration between ProTools and the Icon mix environment has never been better!  It adds tremendous flexibility and efficiency to our audio workflow and will streamline every project that we do.”
