BAM Studios is now a proud partner of Chicago’s own Midwest Independent Film Festival! Now entering its tenth year, the Midwest Independent Film Festival bills itself as “the nation’s only film festival solely dedicated to the Midwest filmmaker.” The festival (which is a year-round event) presents the latest and greatest Midwestern independent films, highlighting the tremendous work going on in Illinois and surrounding states. In addition to hosting film premieres, the Festival also hosts special event nights focusing on specific areas of the industry, such as female filmmakers or comedic shorts. BAM is very excited to be working with an organization that is such a staple of the Chicago film and production community. As a sponsor, we will be featured on the Midwest Independent Film Festival website, as well as onscreen at each of the Festivals First Tuesday events. Additionally, BAM Studios will be highlighted at the Festival’s annual Advertising Community Shorts Night in October of this year.
The Midwest Independent Film Festival opens their 10th Anniversary Season on Tuesday, February 4th 2014. These First Tuesday festivities begin at 6PM at Chicago’s Landmark Century Centre Cinema. BAM will be there, and we hope you’ll be there too!
