BAM Studios is honored to have worked on the documentary “Maya Angelou and Still I Rise”, which will have its world premiere at Sundance Film Festival tomorrow. The film is touted as the first feature documentary on the legendary poet and activist’s life. Brian Reed and the BAM sound team worked alongside the film’s directors Bob Hercules and Rita Coburn Whack to sound design and mix the audio for the documentary. The film will feature intimate and archival photographs and videos of the icon at various points in her life. Reed will be attending the festival, which will premiere the film at four different times throughout the week (check below for dates and times).
