The BAM Team sound designs & mixes the latest robotic competition «VEX Robotics»!
BAM’s audio engineer Matt Sauro sparked some wires and added a technological twist to the sound design of the VEX Robotics 2017 World Championship TV program! He hand-picked sound effects to help draw the TV audience into the arena with the crowd and competing robots. Matt additionally sound mixed the entire program. For the 2nd year in a row, BAM collaborated with editor Meej Adad and producer Scott Thor in the post production audio for this hour long program.

VEX Robotics is a competition that assigns tasks to a group of students. These tasks typically include designing a robot to play against other teams within a game-based engineering challenge. This competition has helped increased STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) learning within the student populous. This year the competition was held at Louisville, Kentucky. The VEX Robotics 2017 World Championships will be airing this Sunday June 11 on CBS at 1 PM Central!
