Over the past few weekends BAM summoned the help of Swiss artist Nick Krummenacher to paint a modern interpretation of the Chicago skyline in their lobby. We felt it was time to update the previous design after 10 years. So, after many conversations and deliberations, the BAM staff agreed on a Cubism style for the mural much like the famous master painter Picasso. For a grueling 4 days, BAM’s team captured time lapse video of the work in progress where you can see the mural come to life.
