This week, we bid adieu to the remarkable Kara Killmer as she wrapped up her final ADR session for Chicago Fire at BAM Studios. 🎬 🎤 For 10 incredible years since season three, Kara has graced our studios and screens as the brave and compassionate Firehouse 51 paramedic, Sylvie Brett. 🚒 💔
We’ll miss Kara’s infectious energy and the delicious cookies she always brought to our sessions, not to mention all the doodling she left on our kitchen wall! 🍪 ✏️ But most of all, we’ll miss her portrayal of Sylvie, a character who inspired us with her courage and unwavering dedication to saving lives.
In her last episode, which aired last night, Sylvie finally tied the knot with firefighter Captain Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) in a heartwarming moment that left us reaching for the tissues. 💍 ❤️
Kara, thank you for a decade of sessions with the BAM team. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with you, and we can’t wait to see what incredible adventures await you next! 🌟 🎥 👋
