20th Century Fox utilized BAM’s ISDN studio to record voiceover for the TV series “The Simpsons.” Chicago-born actor, comedian, and writer Dan Castellaneta brought his amazing talent to BAM to voice Homer Simpson and Simon Cowell. In addition to earning several awards for his role as Homer, he also voices many other characters including Abraham Simpson, Barney Gumble, Krusty the Clown, Groundskeeper Willie, and Mayor Quimby.
This wasn’t the first visit from an animated Springfieldian. While in Chicago working on the musical “Spamalot,” Hank Azaria voiced Chief Wiggum, Moe Szyslak, and other characters at BAM.
