BAM has added a new audio person to their roster, please welcome Yahir Vergara to the team! Yahir has become BAM’s newest assistant audio engineer after spending months as an intern. Before his internship, he studied at Tribeca Flashpoint’s prestigious Recording Arts program. His great work ethic and attention to detail earned him a spot on the BAM team. BAM’s Executive Producer Lisa Woods says “Yahir is a great addition to the BAM team. He is hard working and always goes the extra mile to make sure our sessions run smoothly. We’re lucky to have him!”
Having moved to the United States at the age of 12 from his native country of Mexico, Yahir was glad to find a a welcoming place to begin his career in audio engineering. “BAM is a really great place to work, I feel at home here,” Yahir says, “It’s a great place to actually learn the audio post production industry.” He has been assisting with many projects at BAM including ADR recording for MTV’s television show, “Underemployed” and American Family Insurance radio campaign.
