Send the picture and the cue sheet. Whether ADR is your entire project or just one part of your audio post, we'll handle the rest.

ADR Recording

Whether we're recording ADR as a standalone session or as part of a complete audio post project, our stages support feature films, television, documentaries, animation, streaming, independent films, and games. We adapt to your production's workflow using streamers and beeps, free-run, or your preferred cueing method.

ADR Supervision

From cue sheet preparation through final delivery, our experienced ADR supervisors keep sessions organized, efficient, and production-ready. Whether ADR is one part of a larger audio post project or the entire assignment, we'll deliver clean, synced tracks ready for dialogue editorial.

Loop Group & Walla

Whether you need a dedicated loop group session or complete audio post services, our casting team handles talent selection, scheduling, and recording using Chicago's outstanding pool of professional voice talent — all coordinated under one roof.

The director doesn't have to be in Chicago

Talent in the room, everyone else on the line. Remote clients hear the stage in broadcast quality and direct in real time — no compressed conference audio, no waiting for a file to land before anyone can say whether the take was good.

We support nearly every platform a supervisor might already be on, and we run our own, so there is nothing for a client to install.

What is ADR?

Automatic Dialogue Replacement — also called Additional Dialogue Replacement, Additional Dialogue Recording, looping, or walla when it is a group. It all means the same thing: re-recording dialogue to picture after the shoot, because the production audio was unusable, the line changed, or the performance needs another pass.

How many ADR stages does BAM have?

Four, across two Chicago locations — Studio Z at CineBAM on the Cinespace lot, and Studios A, B and C at BAM HQ in River North. With all four running, we can move far more than four actors through in a single day.

Can a director or producer join remotely?

Yes — every session includes a free Zoom link, since there is almost always someone directing or listening in remotely. Beyond Zoom, we also run our own patch software, Panda Patch, alongside Source-Connect, SessionLinkPRO, Audiomovers and Cleanfeed. Remote clients hear the room in broadcast quality and direct in real time.

Is BAM cleared to work on studio productions?

BAM is content- and security-approved by Disney (which covers Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm), Amazon Studios, NBC/Universal, Apple TV+, MGM, Paramount, Starz and Lionsgate, and many others.

Where are you, and is there parking?

BAM HQ is at 1 East Erie Street in River North, a block off Michigan Avenue — see our parking instructions. CineBAM is at 2558 West 16th Street, inside Cinespace Film Studios, on the lot.
