The short version
We measure how many people visit BAM Studios's website and which pages they read, using Google Analytics. We do not advertise to you, sell your information, or track you across other websites. The only information we ask for is what you type into the booking form, and we use it to reply to you.
What we collect
The booking form. If you send us a project through the form on our contact page, we receive your name, your email address, the service you selected, and whatever you write in the project details. We use it to answer you and to plan the work. It is not sold, rented, or shared for marketing.
Server logs. Like any website, ours is served by a host that keeps standard technical logs — the pages requested, the time, the browser, and the IP address making the request. These are used to keep the site running and secure.
Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies in your browser and shares your IP address and browsing activity on this site with Google, who process it on our behalf. We use it to understand what people come here for — nothing more. You can opt out for every site you visit with Google's browser add-on, or by turning on your browser's tracking protection.
What we don't do
We do not run advertising on this site or use advertising pixels. We do not sell or rent your information. We do not build marketing profiles of visitors, and we do not follow you around other websites.
Third parties
Hosting and forms. The site is hosted on Netlify, which also delivers booking-form submissions to us. Netlify processes your submission and the technical logs described above on our behalf.
Video. Our reels and many posts embed video from Vimeo, and some older posts embed video from YouTube. Nothing loads from those services until a player appears on the page you are reading, but once it does they may set their own cookies and receive your IP address. Their privacy policies govern that, not ours.
Links out. Our social links point to Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Following one takes you to that company's site, under its own terms.
How long we keep things
Booking enquiries are kept as long as they are useful for the work and our business records. Ask us to delete yours and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Children
This is a business-to-business site for a recording studio. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@bamstudios.com and we will take care of it.
